I know I'm gonna feel like a bad bitch this summer when I wear this one piece!
PLEASE READ NOTES BEFORE ORDERING!
NOTE: There is no "built in bra" in the one piece suits!
That said, I found that a size L kept me held in WELL (even in the water) when I was a 38D.
I am 5'7. Last year I was a size 12/14 and I would recommend a size L or XL for someone my size. Currently I am more of a 10/12 and would recommend a size M or L for someone my size.
I would suggest the smaller size if you're around my size and like to feel "held in" by a bathing suit, plan on being super active in the suit, or if you do lots of swimming or chasing little ones around. I would recommend the larger size if you are more of a poolside "lounger" or prefer a less "held in" feeling from a swimsuit.
The prints look INCREDIBLE in person! The colors are so vibrant and I love the double layer of fabric. I actually wore one of these around my house for an entire day once and then realized "oh my gosh, I've been in a bathing suit for hours!" Just. So. Comfy.
If you are still skeptical, I did try ordering this swim bra and it definitely added more support. I don't feel like I personally needed it (it felt like overkill for me personally) but just offering this as a creative option for those concerned:
